Social Bookmarking Wish List - I need your tips, comments and suggestions!
Hi everyone! I need your help!
I am in the process of developing a collaborative software application to help AU members and Article Marketing Newsletter subscribers to easily help each other out with bookmarks and links at the best web 2.0 sites. It will include a rewards system!
The application will be available for free to both Article Underground members and Article Marketing Newsletter subscribers.
As you may already know, Article Underground members have had a collaborative bookmarking section in the private AU members forum, and have been helping each othr with links and bookmarks. But we want to take it a step further and really make it easy for everyone to get as active as possible!
The idea is to reward those that help others the most. That way everyone has an incentive to make an effort to bookmark and link each other!
What I need your help with is ideas on how to make this work the best it can! I also want your suggestions on the best places we need to help automate the linking/bookmarking process.
What sites should we include? What features would you like?
Please feel free to make your comments and suggestions as brief or as detailed as you desire!
Thanks for contributing! Best wishes for marketing success! Mike Liebner

Mike, what you are planning is a fantastic service that I would definitely utilize. The fact that you are planning to share your service with “free” members as well is very kind. The first thing I thought of when you requested ideas and input was this:
I took Bob Jenkin’s SquidooSecrets Workshop; I believe the reason his course is so successful is because you are automatically integrated into a network of people (other class attendees) who will be linking to you to as part of the course curriculum. Everyone benefits because when you are linked to and favorited, your lens rank improves drastically and the better lens rank you have, the better you do in the search engines as well.
I have found that,
It’s a win, win, win situation. It works very well, and it adds a huge value to the SquidooSecrets Workshop - as it would be to any similar service.
If you can develop something around this type of scenario… I think you will have a winner!

Hi Mike
I have thought of getting a service or software product developed with probably the same idea as you are looking at with this project.
I would say it need to be an automated process that post to the web 2.0 sites at random times over a period of time and that this software or service tool could show a list of sites according to their posting credits.
You just enter your list of own websites (updatable and preferably only one site) and the system take a website randomly from the list of all members and start to post web 2.0 entries for them over a period of time not to be accused of spamming.
To better the results for the members I suppose the more heavy the web 2.0 traffic at any given time the better so the system should try to promote only one site for a period that you decide.
On the one hand for the site to get quantity of 2.0 linkage in a short period of time and on the other hand so that the system is not accused of spamming.
Preferably the system should be software running from a member’s IP and preferably on autopilot. That is receiving instructions from the server (website pick for the day/week) and posting to preprogrammed (self updating) list of web 2.0 sites and reporting every post as to give the IP host (User) the credits he/she needs for his/her own website to be used by the system.
Hope this helps. There are software on the market that already does automated posting at different intervals from a list of such that it has been fed. The only thing it needs is the server side control.
Kind regards

Hi Mike,
If you’re looking for software for a model this looks promising. http://bookmarkingdemon.com/ That’s a raw link. I was looking at this for a purchase and got your email. Think I’ll wait to see what’s up with your software first. I also use web2submitter by the ASC guys. Really it would be nice to have one integrated system that would speed up the process of posting to news and social sites.
