Apparently someone got into the site and did something - I noticed a few links on the footer on the home page that I did not put there - I reuploaded my site and it seemed fine - then I notice what you cited on Google - they had a warning about spam - I am not sure how to get rid of this as Google uses a thord party web site - it's confusing at the leats to figure out how to get the site listed properly. To make matters worse - another site of mine that is 100% clean - on a different server - just got that same thing - so I am starting to get pissed about this. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get the site properly reviewed? I followed instructions as best I could but boith sites are still showing the warning on Google. Geez!

Mike - I have a question regarding your two "Top 20 Linking..." videos.

First, let me tell you how VERY much I enjoyed these videos. The amount of information you provide, and the quality of the information was astounding. Very powerful internet marketing information.

Here is my question:

What is your most current advice (or experience) with SmartyLinks.com?

I ask because I know the video was done mid-2007 and when I just tried to go to the SmartyLinks.com site I got this wonderful warning from Google:

Begin Quote
Warning - visiting this web site may harm your computer! - the page you are about to visit may be a web forgery!
You can learn more about malware and how to protect yourself at StopBadware.org. This page is very likely to have been designed to trick users into sharing personal or financial information. Entering any personal information on this page may result in identity theft or other fraud.

You can read more about phishing here antiphishing.org.

Or you can continue to http://www.smartylinks.com/ at your own risk.

You can also turn off safe browsing warnings by going to Google Desktop preferences.

Would you like to help make the web safer by always sending information to Google about sites with suspicious links?
End Quote

If I got this warning from Google... does that mean they have "slapped" the site and it's users or that they are leaving "footprints"?

Thank you for sharing such great content and guidance.

Hi there Mike

I must say I can not agree with Doug. It might not be secrets to him, probably because he has been around the block a few times. For newbies like me, this is pure gold! How easier to learn than to watch it done, and then run out and do it yourself? Thanks a lot! You are my new hero!

Fantastic Videos Mike!

Hey Mike. Great job with the 2 link videos. Both of the videos made perfect sense.

This is an absolute must for the home business beginner

When all is said and done, when all your web pages are search engine friendly, the absolute power of success is linking.

Running a successful web site business will always be "work in progress". However, the links you use are the gang that makes you the best!

Your linking advice videos are brilliant.

There REALLY are a lot of secrets most home business professionals will not know - untill now!

I can also see you have put a great del of time in to the both of the secret linking videos. The quality is super professional.

It is always good to watch a skilled man talk with a passion.

Keep the good stuff coming. And for you (the reader), watch these videos. They hold a key to home business success!

Look forward to the next instalment.

Sincerely,
John Adams

That was very kind of you to make a free video, thats something im working at hard the next three months, and thats delivering new unique content. I wouldn't call the techniques in the videos secrets, but more on the lines of gold old fashioned textbook marketing. Developing linking strategies is extremely important for the success of a young website, but whats even more important is setting side each day and taking action.
