I see how the IP address is an important consideration.It is somehow an identification of a certain link,where it came from and how often it is used.The best is to build quality links in high PR sites.

There has been much written about linking and all that Jazz in recent years. Link farms worked once but the search engines advance at such a pace its not worth the hassle, time or money to use these.

However article and blog sites are fantastic ways to get diverse linking that looks natural and thats because it is natural.

I fully agree, IP Addresses matter. Next is that there are differnt class C nets preferred. But at least it is not easy to all that always in mind.

I just started using a service called article marketer that syndicates your articles to a number of sources. I do have a resource box that I feel is not spammy, I make it a regular practice to rewrite it every 3rd article. So far there have been no adverse effects. Has anyone here had any different experiences?

Wow great information. Especially for those starting out. I tend to lean towards a slow buildup of incoming backlinks to my sites. And I’m very careful about what I throw out there, but this is all about where you throw it out there. I never really took that into consideration.

Great post – I tackled this subject in a slightly different way suggesting that an option was to buy cheap hosting and install blogs on different IP C-blocks. Only really cost-effective if one is creating lots of blogs in different niches.
