I’ve been distrustful of the Twitter experience ever since I created a Twitter account a few years ago and then abandoned it after one tweet because I really didn’t think my breakfast was that interesting.
Then I saw that “people” were subscribing to it! I mean, what kind of people would subscribe to a tweets from someone they don’t know and who had one tweet months ago!?!
Anyway, I became very suspicious of just who these “subscribers” were and never went back… except now in internet marketing it seems to have some use.
Hopefully some of those people out there are actually “real people”.
Goggle has nothing to worry about though from searches of 160 word tweets.

HI Mike, Really enjoyed your post on twitter and must agree that the reduced character limit to the twitter post makes it a site of almost incoherent garbage, social networking should have the ability to maintain some conversation to readers, not just “view my url”, or “had toast for breakfast”, maybe its just so big because people can’t be bothered to communicate properly anymore!

I have the same feeling. There is no chances Twitter will overcome Google. Altought Twitter is powerful tool for Internet Marketers but is not designed for searching the web. It’s deep in our minds if you want to find something- you “google” it.
