Google Proxy Hacking and Duplicate Content
Thanks to Article Underground member Aitch for bringing this great article by Dan Thies on Google Proxy Hacking to my attention. It explains what it is and how by getting proxy sites indexed with web content from our web sites, it gets them indexed by Google and therefor creates exact duplicate content. Google sees this and penalties and all kinds of problems may occur. mAINLY, THE PROXY OFTEN BUMPS YOU FROM YOUR TOP RANKINGS! oUCH!
I’ve had this happen with my sites in the past. In some cases when notified of the offending malicious proxy, Google removed them from their index. But this was only with intentional malicious indexing of hijacked content. Google still lets some of the proxy sites get a free pass and allows the content to be indexed.
Well, I could go on explaining it to you but Dan’s article does such a terrific job I will let you go over there to read up on this disturbing subject.

well i do agree that Google consider duplicate content and result in link spam. since there is lots of issues is going on while developing links for website, duplicate content is one among it. so to over come this issue Google has software to detect these duplicate contents. you can check the duplicate content present in your website by using this tool http://www.copyscape.com/.
this will show some sites and when you enter that site it will highlight the duplicate content.

Copyscape doesn’t find everything unfortunately. This is why it’s a bummer that Google hides the supplemental tag now as supplemental results were a great indicator of duplicate content issues.

Duplicate Content is the bane of the internet. That the net harbours so many plagiarists is truly astounding. Copyscape, employed by Google is not foolproof.

Plagiarists of all sorts do have a field day on the net. And there is no stopping them effectively

With not only global security, but national and online security at high risk, precautions need to be taken in every aspect of life. If you are looking for a little bit of online security, you can use a paid proxy that will at least cut down on the risk involved in the cyber world.

It is a very useful content,i had bookmarded your post. Here is some information for cheap discount coupons. It is a fact that cigarette smoking is injurious to health but if you go with reputed brand like Marlboro then the harm is less as compared to harm which other cheap and harmful cigarettes can do. It is so because Marlboro’s quality standards are high and it uses the right nicotine content and menthol which gives the real pleasure of smoking. In addition with the help of discount coupons you can even buy them very cheap.
