Sharing the Secret of Success - taking action!

One of the main reasons I have created the Article Undergound Content and Traffic System is to interact with and help people find their way towards achieving success as an internet marketer.

One of the benefits of having a membership of 700 + motivated people is that it keeps me on my toes and allows me to have conversations with some great minds.

Itâ€™s also great to be able to get letters and unsolicited testimonials from people who have found my tips and secrets useful.

Iâ€™ve decided to spend some more time publishing some of the emails I get that are relevant to internet marketing and discuss here on the blog.

Today I got 2 interesting emails back to back - they were contrasting in a big way.

The first was from a member who just had that magic moment and had an epiphony seeing how he was on the right track. Another email was from a member who admitted he had not done anything despite having been a member for 5 months.

Those 2 extremes show us how each person uses and processes information in different ways.

One of them was looking for the answer and found it in one of my videos. The other obviously did not make the connection and got distracted. In fact that 2nd person admitted he had bought just about every marketing course out there and had not done a thing with his AU membership.

I sent him a copy of this letter which I had received just minutes before his.

Here it is:

Mike,
Thank you for the personal interest.
The recent â€œessential videos for members onlyâ€? newsletter you sent really opened my eyes. Until I watched the two videos I couldnâ€™t see the benefit of tracking, or how to use the information to advance my web success.
After watching the videos Iâ€™ve seen that Iâ€™ve been more successful now than I first thought. Since last week Iâ€™ve invested in Adsense Tracker and am now recording good results; results that I can tweak to get even better results.
I can now see itâ€™s just a matter of time and tweaking that will get me to the success level I want to be at. Thanks Mike for sharing the secrets.
Those videos were a real breakthrough moment for me.

That was an unsolicited email sent by Joe and reprinted with his permission. Itâ€™s unedited.

For those that are not members of Article Underground, the email reminded members about 2 videos I thought were essential to them moving forward.

One of them referred to â€œThe Power of Statisticsâ€? which showed how that by tracking ones success based on viewing stats about who clicked ads on which pages, and what keywords and search engines sent that traffic, you could actually see PROGRESS and feel a sense of accomplishment.

That points out the need for us to remember that when we set any goal - we should have some benchmarks to judge our success and look at little victories and use those to encourage us to follow through on the way towards the bigger victories and ultimately SUCCESS as we have defined it.

The great thing about Joeâ€™s letter is that he had that â€œbreakthrough momentâ€? and is now more in control of his destiny.

Thatâ€™s what it is all about.

We decide what we want - and then we take action to reach our goal.

Yes, itâ€™s really that simple! TAKE ACTION and try - instead of finding reasons it will not work or looking for distractions so you donâ€™t feel you have failed.

If you want something bad enough - you will get it!

I get the impression that you are not only busy, but obviously very productive. Who am I to suggest any motivational resources? But, even if you don’t get any benefit from my reference resource, maybe a reader will get some motivational benefit. so here’s to sharing motivational resources.

Hi mike,

thanks for the guidance. actually i learn a lot for the past 3 months about how to succeed. have been listen to a few successful people indirectly because i can’t afford to join their mentoring program but their free knowledge is enough to give me the energy and desire to move forward.

i really believe it is the strong desire that drive all successful people like yourself to do what you all do. people take a look people like you so busy all the time but never fell that much tired. i know you do feel tired but the desire just keep you going and after a night good sleep all the exhaustion will all be gone. so continue success and keep up the good work helping other people.
