How to make money using the Internet: create value and get paid!

I ran across an article in a blog that made so much sense that I thought I should share it with you.

The blog post grabbed me right from the start!

“Make money: not by building an internet company, but by using the net as a tool to create value and get paid. Use the internet as a tool, not as an end.”

That is so right on!

The way to attract money is by providing something of value and presenting it to people!

And that applies to all of us building web sites, promoting our own or affiliate products, or employing any of the numerous methods available to us to earn a living by partnering with the world wide web!

Well… enough of me telling you about it…

  3. Hey Mike,
    I read the article by Seth. It is “spot on” For so long I looked at my business as an “Internet business” but when you make the shift to seeing the Internet as enviroment with many mediums within it just the way we look at the physical environment with many mediums within it. The lights come on.

  7. Hi Mike,
    Finally someone with ‘authority’ is saying the exact same thing I’ve written about on my blog for the past 5 years – the ‘internet is a powerful tool’, it’s not a business!

    Of course there will always be people who disagree, but the ‘internet’ sells nothing, people sell through the ‘medium of the internet’ to other people, same as if they sold products or services in the mall.

    I’m simply glad someone other people follow agrees with me!:)

  15. It is such a great thoughts from Seth. Actually, if we only focus on our goal when it comes to working online, all of us can be successful. We only need to be patient and hardworking in order to make everything possible. However, not all people are willing to these ways. They are more into the easy way of earning when it comes to internet.

  26. Seth is a classic…I think most of his claims are a little “naive”…not all products are exceptional, and even “normality” has to be promoted…but it’s always really interesting to read his advices…

    You’re right! Using “internet as a tool” is the first think to understand when trying to make money online.

    So many people think that there is a magic formula or a magic trick to make money, but there will never be a trick – just work, test and implement.

  34. One of the problems I have when I see articles on making money on the Internet is that most of them do not live up to the expectations they create. The bottom line is there is no quick way to make money, it does take work and anyone that tells you anything else is out to scam you however I did like the article and there is some good points in it.
