I like using James Brausch's plan for this... 1. Take action. 2. Focus on one thing at a time. 3. Follow a proven path. 1 and 2 help you focus on getting things done, and 3 makes sure you are working on the right thing. If you find a mentor that you like and trust, it takes a lot of the guesswork out of the "game". Then you just need to follow 1, and 2.
