I just ran into that quote today and it struck a chord with me.
I can honestly say that a great part of my success, especially my more recent success, is a direct result of helping people get what they want. It’s part of what I do. I enjoy helping other people.
Now, I’ll go easy on the self-serving, make my self feel good talk, but let me just say that I have been very fortunate in my life and that I am very satisfied with the path I have taken to get me where I am now.
While I do sell a product (with more coming!) I do attribute a great deal of my personal success to the fact that I offer training and assistance and make a lot of it freely available without asking for a penny. I’m happy to help others.
My business revolves around helping other people achieve success as web publishers and internet marketers.
I make available training videos and helpful articles and regularly send out newsletter messages to my mailing list and Words Equal Money subscribers with tips and suggestions on how to do some of these internet marketing type things that can bring us what we want. Any of you guys that have been with me for a while may have noticed that I’m a big Tony Robbins follower. I even include a quote from Anthony Robbins in the signature of my email messages (see bottom of this post).
Oddly enough, last night I watched the Anthony Robbins infomercial on TV (worth watching by the way) and I had written down the phone number so I could buy his newest course. I haven’t done that yet, but it seems funny that Tony keeps popping up everywhere I go. In fact last night a friend asked me about Tony Robbins at dinner, and today I got an email from an affiliate news list I am on and it gave the link to this video. Sharing the Secret of Success – taking action!
One of the main reasons I have created the Article Undergound Content and Traffic System is to interact with and help people find their way towards achieving success as an internet marketer.
One of the benefits of having a membership of 700 + motivated people is that it keeps me on my toes and allows me to have conversations with some great minds.
It’s also great to be able to get letters and unsolicited testimonials from people who have found my tips and secrets useful.
I’ve decided to spend some more time publishing some of the emails I get that are relevant to internet marketing and discuss here on the blog.
Today I got 2 interesting emails back to back – they were contrasting in a big way.
The first was from a member who just had that magic moment and had an epiphony seeing how he was on the right track. Another email was from a member who admitted he had not done anything despite having been a member for 5 months.
Those 2 extremes show us how each person uses and processes information in different ways.
One of them was looking for the answer and found it in one of my videos. The other obviously did not make the connection and got distracted. In fact that 2nd person admitted he had bought just about every marketing course out there and had not done a thing with his AU membership.
I sent him a copy of this letter which I had received just minutes before his.

The recent “essential videos for members only� newsletter you sent really opened my eyes. Until I watched the two videos I couldn’t see the benefit of tracking, or how to use the information to advance my web success.
After watching the videos I’ve seen that I’ve been more successful now than I first thought. Since last week I’ve invested in Adsense Tracker and am now recording good results; results that I can tweak to get even better results.
I can now see it’s just a matter of time and tweaking that will get me to the success level I want to be at. Thanks Mike for sharing the secrets.

Imagining your way to Success!
How committed are you to your own success? Are you willing to work on it with enthusiasm? Are you willing to spend a good amount of your time thinking and exploring the depths of your mind to find out and decide what you really want and desire?
I’m not talking about hours of meditation or chanting, but rather asking you to take some time to visualize yourself with the things that you want.
Do you know what you want? Not what other people want for you – but rather what you REALLLLLY want for yourself! If you leave it up to others to decide what is best for you – well, you’re much less likely to get something that will make you happy.
Hey – think about it… did you have a Christmas or Birthday list so others could give you gifts you really wanted, or did you leave it up to them and allow them to give you fruitcakes and socks and ties and underwear or maybe even re-gifting things they received and did not want so they they gave then to you…. There is no question – if you ask for something you are more likely to get what you want… if you don’t ask then you’ll end up with a Chia pet… or something you do not want.
