Add Your Blog Feeds to My New RSS Directory
Need backlinks? Add your RSS FEED and get linked instantly!
I just wanted to make sure that everyone is aware of my new feed directory site RSS 6 which I made for you guys to get links FAST for your blogs.
Simply set up a new free account and then login to add your RSS FEEDS.
The site is very unique as it was made from the ground up to be “marketing friendly”! It will link your most recent post on the front page of RSS6 plus it will create a PAGE for your feed with the keyword you choose as the TITLE of your page on Rss6.

Does Google Trust You???
Does Google Trust You??? Or are they watching every little thing you do?
All too often – us “seo types” will rush out and try to grab the big prizes without putting in the proper time and going at a natural pace. I’m guilty of it too on occasion. It’s hard to restrain myself… but I have learned – that when setting up and introducing new domains – sometimes it’s better to back off and take time instead of hammering and cranking fast and furious.
Do you know what I mean?
For example – you don’t want to come out of nowhere and add a zillion pages to a brand new domain.
You don’t want to have TOO MANY backlinks pointing at pages that just were released. An on and on.
That stuff simply is NOT NATURAL and raises flags and alarm buzzers start going off.
Patience and restraint in the world of SEO can go a long way.
We need to be earning our places by doing things the best way – not always the fastest way. Now don’t get me wrong – automation and speed have their places – but unfortunately – that’s something that usually goes hand in hand with hardcore site spamming.
Some tools used in moderation would be fine – but in many cases when you give a person the power – they want to use it and abuse it and that will bring attention to the patterns of the particlular processes. (continued – read more of this article…)

Ideally you want BOTH!
One is not good without the other!
In our quest to build successful web sites with lots of keyword packed content, we often get sidetracked and spend time on things that aren’t really doing much in the way of ROI.
Return on Investment
ROI is not just for ad spending like PPC – it’s also a “return on investment for time spent on a task” or if you like acronyms – let’s call it ROIFTSOAT.
The reason I bring this up is that I regularly see Article Underground members targeting keyword phrases that are either TOO EASY or TOO HARD.
The keywords that are too easy usually bring in very little traffic – even with a number one ranking.
The keywords that are very hard to rank for (on the first page of Google) also usually bring in little or no traffic unless you’re ranked near the top. These ULTRA competitive keywords can be almost impossible to get a top ranking for! Everybody wants to be on page one!
What I am trying to convey here is that it’s not where you RANK or what you are targeting that veryoften will bring in the most traffic and make you the most money.
In fact – if we’d slow down and snoop around our stats a bit we would most likely find that there are MANY keywords bringing us traffic that we have NOT targeted. (continued – read more of this article…)

I am in a very fortunate position as I have a direct connection with you guys and hear about the things you guys face out there in the trenches. Every once in a while I run across a member asking for help who can’t understand why their page or site has dropped off the top 10 or has disappeared completely.
9 times out of 10 when I analyze the site and start poking around I will find some obnoxious and over zealous linking patterns leading to the site. It could be some kind of spam link directory scheme, or automated article submissions with obvious spammy resource box linking, or it could be excessive linking from the same places without natural “real world variety”, or it might just be lack of variety in the text used in linking. Vary Your LINK TEXT (and eat your vegetables or else!)
Text links are a great way to help boost your search engine rankings – especially when they have YOUR keywords in the LINKS!
Search engines love this stuff… ummm… in moderation…
Just like in the real world where you need to be careful NOT to over do some things… such as overeating that funky chunk sweet fatty ice cream stuff which may taste good… so good it’s hard to stop eating it once you get started… but don’t eat too much of that sugar filled crap because you might just get a tummy ache… at the very least you’ll gain some weight and a zit or two (a real world penalty by the way!)
Just like in the real world – there are penalties for excessive behavior in SEO! The days of hammering a SPECIFIC KEYWORD PHRASE in the link text for a page are long gone.

Link Text – Breaking Patterns and Keeping Natural
To get a top ranking for a keyword phrase on Google and the other search engines, your web page should have that exact keyword phrase on the page itself PLUS it must have good links pointing at the URL (your web page).
If no links point to that URL – Google will assume it is a page with little or no value.
Taking this a step further – links are BEST when they have GOOD KEYWORDS in the LINK TEXT.
LINK TEXT : the text that is found within the LINK pointing at your web page.
A banner or image link is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, but even better is a good text link.
When they see a text link with your keywords in the link text – it helps them to decide how they will rank you when poeple search for that keyword phrase.
Putting the right words on your web pages pages is a step in the right direction, but if Google NEVER sees any of those words in LINK TEXT, either on your site or as linked on other sites, there is very little chance they will rank you on top for any of those keywords.
The solution is to to find out what PHRASES and keywords are on your pages and do your best to get links to your page with the exact words.
HOT TIP: Use the AUKDAT Keyword Density Analyzer Tool to find out what single, 2 word and 3 word phrases appear on your web page. Simply enter a URL and AUKDAT will tell you the words that are on your page (and also show you which words could appear MORE OFTEN! ie if a KEYWORD PHRASE appears more than 2 times it is more likley to bring you traffic).

Good SEO – Breaking the Patterns!
I’d like to discuss how ugly patterns, excessive repetition and blatant footprints can be the ultimate buzz kill when it comes to getting top rankings for your primary targeted keyword phrases on Google.
I’ll explain what some common patterns, repetition and footprints are, and I’ll explain how to remedy the situations so that sinking ships can be brought back up to the surface!
Often, when a web page suddenly declines in rankings it can be because of the links that Google sees pointing at your web page. Often some simple strategies can bring your pages back to the top! Don’t panic or freak out! I’ll help you get your pages back on top!
I am fortunate to communicate with a large number of Article Underground members and Article Marketing News newsletter subscribers on a regular basis, both by email and through the private members forum. I have the unique opportunity to discuss SEO and optimization discoveries as they develop. I also regularly analyze a large number of web sites and see many common situations.
When starting an online business as a “web publisher” it’s easy to get caught up building sites and adding pages and overlooking important details such as applying simple logic or practical strategies.
Because the Article Underground Content and Traffic System focuses on building pages and adding links I can see how some people may take the building process to it’s extreme.
I tell people to stop wasting time over analyzing and focus on getting started building web sites! I instruct newcomers it’s more important to get the ball rolling and then learn from your small victories and successes and build upon them.

Build Pages – Get Links
If you are familiar with me or Article Underground you should know that my primary sumary of what it takes to make it big in Internet Marketing and Web Publishing is the Mike Liebner mantra “Build Pages – Get Links!”.
I jokingly say Mike Liebner MANTRA because in the private Article Underground members only forum, that saying has become a running joke of sorts! In fact one member created his own avatar that had a superhero looking guy with Build Pages – Get Links on his pumped up chest! Very funny!
But it is TRUE – BUILDING WEB PAGES with great keywords on them and GETTING GOOD LINKS with excellent keywords in them can help a web publisher push their pages to the top of Google! It’s the way it works boiled down to the core!
It’s so simple, yet so many people get stumped along the way to building successful web sites that attract people and make money! They over analyze every nuance and detail and get so distracted they DO NOT spend enough time building pages and getting good links! And then they wonder why they are not MAKING LOTS OF MONEY!
It’s funny, but this morning as I was listening to the radio I heard fitness guru Jillian Michaels (from Biggest Loser fame) repeat her MANTRA which was “Eat Less – Move More!”
I laughed out loud because BUILD PAGES – GET LINKS is so remarkably close to EAT LESS MOVE MORE!!! And you know what – her mantra too is simple yet makes so much sense in so many ways. BUT dieters too get distracted! (continued – read more of this article…)
